My daughter got married on September 25th.  Her colors were burgundy, rust orange, and mustard yellow and highlighted with metallic gold.  She wanted her cake to be taupe with hand painted metallic gold vines of flowers and leaves.  The beads surrounding the tiers are made with fondant and then hand painted metallic gold luster dust.  Her cake took me about 30 hours.

June & July Cakes

This cake was done for a June wedding.  It is simple but very elegant with the swirls and ribbon.  

I thought this cake turned out very decadent with the chocolate ganache and the chocolate dipped berries.  Notice the tuxedo and bride dress strawberries on top?
