Alice In Wonderland Wedding Cake

This whimsical Alice In Wonderland cake was fun to make!  The flowers are all gum paste/fondant.  The lace is all fondant hand-painted in luster dust.  The pictures around the cake are printed on an edible ink printer using sugar sheets.  Cutting the cake through the pictures was easy.  The knife just slices right through the sugar sheets.  Everything is edible except for the china teacups on top.

Buttercream Wedding Cake

The cake is covered and filled with buttercream.  The bride provided the vines and flowers.  The gold sprayed vines added a unique romantic look.

Rubber Ducky Baby Shower Cake

The baby shower cake was made for my first grand baby’s shower.  The theme of the shower was rubber duckies since the last name is Drake.  Everything on the topper is made of fondant.

Wedding Dress Lace Cake

This cake is ivory fondant with white royal icing lace.  The flower is gum paste/fondant and painted with pearl dust.  The cake is designed to look like a dress.  The bottom tier is the skirt.  The next tier up is the cummerbund with the rose.  The 3rd tier up is the bodice, with the back buttons designed on the front of the cake.  The top tier is the neckline of the dress.  The lace design is overpiped in royal icing to look like the expensive cord lace found on wedding dresses.
